Elizabeth Ryan Hoeckel was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.
There she attended the Carver Center for Arts magnet school, studied
Fine Arts and Photography, and earned her diploma in 1997. Moved to
Chicago at the age of 17, having earned a merit scholarship to
The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she studied Printmaking,
Photography, Painting, Drawing, Creative Writing, and Art History.
Graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Lived and worked in
New York City for 2 years after school, followed by 4 years in Los Angeles.
Beth is currently working on Painting, Drawing, Collage,
and Photography in Baltimore, MD.
